looking forward to this, but i'll warn everybody reading this;
1. Its pissing it down
2. There are a shit load of unmarked police vehicles in blackpool, some very unexpecting ones aswell, such as a silver saxo vtr with multispokes, sat on its arse too lol, so just be careful, and the roundabout going into halfords/morrisons is very slippy when wet

right guy and gals last post before tonight need to get car ready lol
reminders pls be there before 6 or as close to 6 as pos
try and have the right change on u £5 for the run £3for a sticker £3 for a limited number of alister mcrae signed cards
park up in lines makes it easier for me and sykes to collect the money
drive carfully there are lots of police on the prom and we dont want the night spoilt
and most important have fun

***RIP OFF!!!***** I came to the meeting point before six,to find all the car's parked.Looked to be a good night and gladly gave my £5 and even got a sticker.asked if it was o.k to get food from mc dd's .I was told by the so called organiser that they would set off in about 20mins so giving us plenty of time. We stood in the queue only to find all the cars moving out off car park.Not f**king happy.They left mine and two more cosworth in a dark carpark! Thank's alot. By the time we walked back to the car's with are food there was 12 more car's wondering were every one was.We jumped in cars to find the convoy we paid £15 for.

not missed alot , i gave up after 1 hour of hardly moving , it all got split up coz of lights etc , rather use my super unleaded moving than in traffic . great idea in theory . good blast on way home tho .

having been through the lights for more years than i can remember let me tell you unless its half 2 in the morning your gonna get stuck in traffic,loads of traffic,buses trams and loads of kids in cars going "ooh look at the spoiler on that" you can't just whizz up and down the front unless your in the fooking horse and carrige

I also got stuck in the traffic, and gave up before I actually got onto the prom. I certainly wouldn't call it a rip off though, remember the money is going to charity! I thought it was nice seeing so many well kept cars at the meet point at Squires Car Park.

yeh i realised why i hadn't been in years and decided to go back in my auto bm when i go next , got me a sticker and made my donation , some nice cars there too .

you didnt miss much, everyone got stuck in traffic, then people decided to go in the left hand lane which a plod then forced the left lane to go left and wouldnt let anybody into the right hand lane, so everyone had to go towarads pontins then turn round and join a bigger queue 
at this point i left 
payed my £5 and got a sticker for the van, but it was all in aid of charity and the turn out was a lot better than i expected. some very nice cars there

traffic was bad it did wreck the night but i had a good time anyway as i havent been for 15 years
got pissed of with being in traffic for 3 hours just to get to the end of the lights, may be next year if thay do it agian we should do the drive at 9pm when most traffic is gone..
alot did turn up including a very nice mark1 fiesta xr2 i was loving that...
damian mate we were all split up anyway all you had to do is go down to the lights and drive then met back up ...

a didn't really just want a sticker,i really wanted to go but parts never arrived so no car for 3weeks,no Blackpool.
i would have sat in the traffic smoking everybody else to death,yes my car is 4ked and i HATE sitting in traffic but the run there and back would have been alright.i have already asked for pics too

i got hungry and was due to be going into town so after a hour waitin to move 10 metres over the hill i got bored and went left bak through st annes!!
was a good idea but perhaps a weeknight wud of been better as i went thru on the wednesday and it was dead!! though i expect it wudnt have been much of a turn over due to work etc for people!

thought it was a good turn out for the mcrea charity nearlly nocked the traffic cop off is bike trying to turn round i to gave up in the end but still glad i went think should be done next year,some nice cars be be seen bought back a few memorys seen mk1 fester and the mk2 RS2000 sitting here now looking back at those days.

like to say a big thanks to everyone that turned up even though the traffic was a bloody nightmere made worse by the coppers who would not let half the lads in .
final figure raised was Just shy of £300 quid so well done everyone expecting an email back from allister mcrae so ill post it on here when i get it .
anyone who wants a sticker get hold of sykes as he still has some left bear in mind all that sort of stuff was paid out of his and my pocket so he could do with selling them .
one last thing like to say a big thanks to who ever it was in the focus rs who came to save me after the car died just as we got into the lights thanks mate !!!! thought i was stuck there all night ! also to everyone who made it back to mcds at the end of the night
