Default getrag 5 speed gearbox conversion,anybody done it?

I have one in my car.


You also need gear linkage and front of prop.

what getrag gb is it ?? thats what i would be asking as iirc the group a sierra works spec gb was dog leg 1st.
getrag did loads of gb's so is it a dog leg as the ad don't say

Its smoother than T5 but similar in all other ways.

1-3 is shorter and 5th is longer.

Its a 265 box from a XJS, not dog leg first like old BMW boxes.

so they are a worth while mod ? how do you over come the speedo thing ?

The box doesnt have a speedo drive in it so your screwed.

I use a GPS instead now.

Would a Stack speedo work? I think they use wheel sensors don't they?

just emailed the guy and he says you can use satnats or angel type radars for the speedo,im going to bid on it seems a good option over the t5 box
