Just had another text from Stu.
Apparently Nicole is still having a bad time
Still only 5cm dilated after 56hrs labour. 5hrs on the delivery ward now with an inducement drip.
Will update more as i hear...

the sunfoor option tends to mean a longer time in hospital so another bed taken up so it's a last gasp option when all else fails
and if ella is already in the birth position it's going to be much more difficult to extract her
i'm sure we are fretting baout nothing and they are all ecstatic about the birth and have forgotten about letting anyone know

Good luck. Makes me realise how lucky I was with a 9 hour labour. Was already 8cm dialated when I got to hospital and 4 hours later Emily arrived

OMG how long?
Ive heard of 24hrs labour being long, but this is a bit extreme!

dont know stu personally , only spoke to him on the phone a few times over the last five or six years and sitting here reading this IM anxious!!! god only knows how he is feeling now, hope all is well.
