Default Been cleaning the Datapost wheels up.....

Spent a bit of time cleaning them up as they had been stood for a while and gone very dull. They had slight surface corrosion on them but came off with a polish. Nearly finished but need to get the old slicks knocked off them to clean them up properly.

They weigh absolutely fack all!!

Autosol. Just metal polish. They are not laquered and they are deffo not alloy wheels. They weigh very little compared to my Borbet alloys so could be mag..

They are not going on the car till sometime at the beginning of the year mate. The car won't look right on these wheels and standard ride height.....That is where Uncle Tony and his friend Martin comes in...eh Tony?!

Fook that!!! I'd sooner have steels on it!!

I need clearence for brakes and a different offset to the current wheels to clear teh arches. Hopefully these are suitable.

These catching the arches? I love my OZ's, as there is no rubbage at all. Only got 280's behind there at the mo - will be interesting what they can take. They do the super t's in mag, but wreckon they'll be a wedge.

The Borbets are catching the arches. Mainly the rear cos the discs put them a bit further out that what the drums would have. I have had the fronts catching though when hooking it round a roundabout.

I have the 315's as I think you already know so need clearence and at the same time, need to move the wheels inwards slightly. As the Borbets are not motorsport wheels I am hoping these Compomotives will do the trick....

I recon the mag Super T's will be a wedge too!!!

I think I got the last set mate. I knew of 2 sets available. The first was bought by the bloke that owns the Datapost S1 and I got this set. This is what they used to look like before I started to clean them....

The fronts are a different offset to the rears but are the same width. There are several different widths that were used on the Datapost car.....these are the narrow set at 7.5" wide...
