I appreciate that, but a bus in london can't be many peoples idea of fun, whereas even a relatively stressful job they'd much much rather go for I'm in no doubt.
If I drove in london in the lorry all day every day, I've no doubt it wouldn't be too long before I killed a cyclist, not much danger sat in an office.

maybe the attitude of the person who seems to be targeted needs looking at,,,,, as why aint everyone else getting attacked more...... or even the same
ive been stabbed at work once when i was 18, the reason was a bloke said " come over here and say that again",,,,, me being young and cockey fronted him and the fucker stabbed me in the lower back
NOW,,,,,, was there anything i could have done to avoid that situation maybe ???

do you understand the meaning of the word "manage"
getting the staff to work when your not there means theres LESS work for you, working staff means the targets are being met,
if you have to clean the house for someone to come over means the house is always messy,,,, if you always clean up when theres mess it makes the house look like its never dirty
its simple and works,,, TRUST ME as ive worked with some shite managers and once told a manager he dont do shite and any one can do hes job
and i coudnt pmsl

working 80 hours a week to catch up with work on a job that takes less than 40 hours a week is bad management,,,,, would make me think that someone cant delegate tasks to others to relive the strain,,, which is basically what a manager should ATLEAST know how to do

mate i dont take a lunch break or ever sit at my desk emailing people ect for fun, im ALWAYS running around, chasing credits, dealing with returns, checking with suppliers to relive the presure off the blokes in the call centre who work there fucking bollox off
i do all the shite jobs nobody gets time to do that needs doing to stop the company loosing money/customers
also some days i do have to work late but i usually aint got the brain power left to do it
was in at 7am today for a staff meeting,,,, of which 3 fuckers never turned up with some wank excuse they couldnt come in as theres no buses so i went to fetch them

they they brought the bonus back as the sales took a nose dive when the staff stopped hunting for sales and started answering the phone
theres ALOT of shite partsmen out there in the car game,,,,, and so find a company who have need good staff due to a shite computer system thats is a bitch to use
i also make the customer a priorty over sales and dont mind dealing with others fuck ups/ hard to solve situations requiring alot of time
LDV parts are a class example,,,, nobody seemed to give them the time of day so i done ALOT of work looking into them and rewriting the errors in the catalogues with the product managers so our system faults where fixed
AND IM NOT A FUCKING PARTSMAN

mate a good manager is only as strong as hes team,, get a good team and theres almost fuck all to be done
ive worked with managers before who aint got a clue what they are doing,,,, shout at staff, use there free time to catch up with paperwork, cant keep up to date with wages ect, have staff not turning up ect ect ect
and i worked with a manager who EVERY manager hated,,, he was loud, always laughing and taking the piss, hes hours where " as required" and he was never in hes office
senior management loved him cause all they cared about was that this guy was doing twice as much,, never had customer complaints and always ahead of target
he looks like he does fuck all,,, like hes no needed but thats cause hes team is VERY strong and makes hes job easy
i learned alot from him

i used to train traffic wardens, then when we fell out with the boss the recruitment department was closed down and we was offered jobs on the same pay working on street, i used to then fix the hand helds/printers on a moped ( fun job actually)
i started out my job at ford doing 2 weeks to test my old bosses "idea" for improving deliverys, then i got offered a job and i seem to be good at doing anything,,,, but what im actually paied to do
on my contract my title is " sales based "
i dont do anything "intersting" to most people apart from me which is why i do it cause nobody else can be bothered
i do the jobs that other people say " ill sort that when i get a min"
now they email me the issue and i find a solution with the help of others

i cant think of a memeber of staff at my place whos not better than me at work,,,, which is a GREAT thing IMO

mate ive done that in my place a few times, ive even ordered the bog roll or gone to the shop and bought it
ive even changed fitted a new water heater in the toilet, climbed the roof to get a fucking pidgeon out and climbed on a ledge to secure a sign hanging from a roof,,,,,, and many many other things that are random

I did some work for my brother (whos a builder etc) just labouring for a few weeks, it was SOOO much different to the job I do now.
Hard labour, physically knackered, but can SEE what you have done throughout the day.
The job I have now nearly pays 3 times what he paid me, but I am MORE fooked when I finish.
Its all down to the difference between physical and mental work.
Yes I drive 50 miles to plug a few cables in, and get paid a good wage plus 47p/mile, I guess its if things go wrong and the knowledge you have.
I just know I'm more fooked now doing what im doing than doing a physical job, as when uve finished a physical job, its done, whereas with an IT support type job you have 50 things doing thru ur head and when to do certain peoples jobs etc

They dont set the route and what times they are supposed to be at the different stops.
