Default too rich !!!!!!!!!!!! HEELLPPPP !!!

i have a problem (a friend has similary troubles), i had bought a chip with closed loop for my specs, and the AFR is too rich in cold conditions, cruising conditions, and wot ...

i had installed the chip as explained on the paper, set the CO 5 turns clock minus 1.5 turns...

i had tested with another ecu ans same problem ..

i had tested my lambda (it's a lc-1 from innovate which is used for gauge AFR and narrowband signal for the ecu) , and it seems to work properly ...

recents updates was
injectors siemens 55 lb instead of 83lb
air injectors

does anibody has an idea ????

does your ecu get its narrowband signal from the lc1 then? tryd fitting a normal lambda running streight to the ecu? i think you need to cancel the lc1 out to start with

the lc1s are notorious for having damaged analog outputs if they ever touch earth it'll short the DAC on them when they do this they output a constant voltage as well, so it MIGHT explain the problem youre experiencing. what does stu say?

also the closed loop does NOT work when the engine is cold, so its not the lambda causing you grief.

was the chip designed for you EXACT spec? if so i suspect you have a fault that needs investigating, could be loads of different things and hard to fid without diag equipment

you are right ....

i think that it s not a lambda sensor fault ...

the engine worked fine before i fit new specs ...

does a vaccum problem could explain this trouble ?

what parts did you fit?

did you change the spec of the engine and get a suitable chip to suit this new spec? or did you just fit one or the other? (as thats explains it)
