Exmoor - Good driving roads?
Anyone know of any particularly good or decent ish driving roads up over and around Exmoor?
Got a little road run organised with about 30 Evos, and part of our run is over Exmoor. Anyone know where's good to drive? Sort of open ish, fast flowing roads.
I know the area ok, but wondered if anyone knew some good suggestions?
Thinking out from Taunton, up to Bishop's Lydeard, then left up hill to Elworthy, and out to Wheddon Cross and Simonsbath, then.....
Any suggestions welcome

we come down to Devon on the bikes about twice year, and come off the m-way at bridgewater and head over Exmoor up through a place called Porlock (which has a massive 1st gear hill for about 1/2 mile) onto the exmoor tops then through to aplace called Lynton and Lynmouth, awsome roads on a bike, and when you on the tops the world is your lobster for awesome roads.

Deffo some nice roads out there, just need peeps like you who know where they are! It's been years since I've been up there, and I used to walk a lot of it, so not sure of the best roads!

Lynmouth to Simonsbath is a nice twisty road with some sharp corners but there's lots of sheep about in the roads so be careful. Its beautiful there, we used to camp in a layby off that road a lot
Thats gonna be a good and loud sight seeing millions of evo's up there!

Cool, sounds like a good road to be on then
I'll try and get some pics and vids, we're going to try not to terrorise too many locals!
35 on the list now, as long as half turn up it will still be a good run!
I've got a friend camping near there this weekend, she's gone their for a peaceful break. Oh well!
