Default computer problem anyone help

Somehow this http://www.searchportal.info/10022/ has got into my pc and replaced my homepage so when i start IE it goes straigh to that site i have tried many things to shift it but i think they have been minor ways to remove it anyone know how to remove it and restore my homepage of www.ntlworld.com im using XP PRO

press start. go into control panel,go into network and internet,go into internet options, change to use blank and type in your wanted url, click apply. cheers nomad ps if this doenst work you have spyware

I believe you need to download and run cwshredder, Ive seen this before and when you chnage your home page to whatever it changes back automatically.

Follow it through, get any updates and make sure when you run the scan you dont have any browser windows open.

Cheers Martin tried that already and ive cleaned up with adware spyware removal and it still comes back, im hopnig someone might be able to tell me where to go and delete whats causing it

hopefully when i reboot it wont come back !!!!!
