Ferodo DS3000s, more bite, more feel, BUT with added dust and squeaks. But worth it for the improvement.

You know how I use my car and in almost 7 years I have had three sets of discs (will need a fourth set middle of next year). In my mind that is more than acceptible, the difference is unbelievable, and i can direct compare, as I try and run the DS2500s on the road and then switch to the DS3000s for track, however, they are just SO good, that I really miss the 3000s when I'm running the 2500s, and invariably keep the 3000s in (which is why I now have two spare sets of 2500s, but no 3000s left at the moment ).

I have never noticed a delay in my own car with the 3000s, but it is heavy (1400kg).

I have been pleased with my DS2500s - not quite as sharp as when cold as std Motorcraft 2wd pads...but they stand up to hard use quite well. I haven't had them fade on me yet despite some spirited drives following Skylines and Lotuses through the mountains.
My car weighs 1220kg

Matt give the 3000's a try, i prefer them over the 2500's even for road use - instant bite and they inspire more confidence.

we dont have reliability problems

we dont need any more it always stays at 2.1/2 bar and is making over 600hp so thats plenty for a car geared for 150 on 4.44 diffs
