whats the cause??(turbo)
mate of mine bought a sapph cossie couple of months back and from day one the blolts that sit on either side of the turbo(if youre looking straight at it or from the top) well one of them is spitting water out only slightly what would be the cause of this and is it something to worry about?

I take it its the water cooling pipes you're talking about, bolted on either side, one pipe goes over the cam cover and one down to the stat housing?
If its them, either stick new washers on, or just blank the pipes off at the stat and the header tank. A T series turbo will be fine without water cooling

The banjo's are a shit to get to when fitted, especially the one between head/turbo, so I welded a 15mm nut onto the top of my banjo there, dead easy to do now, using new washers or heating/re-annealing old washers means they don't need to be too tight at all.

Wonder if the turbo damper had been serviced recently on cars where this joint has started leaking?
Anyway, noticed in the manual for Cosworths, next to the tightening torques for the banjo bolt it says 'oil'. On some of the other bolts it says 'Loctite' .....and on others it says nothing. I presume it implies you use a dab of engine oil when re-fitting?
