Have a mk3 52 plate diesel auto mondeo 2.0 tdci as a daily runner,
when driving the glow plug light comes on and the car loses power,
Has anyone got an idea what this could be?? common fault?

Could be anything. I would go and get it code read asap

the injectors need to be reprogrammed. this might fix it,if it doesnt last then you'll have to get new ones hope this helps.

Or the injectors need to be reprogrammed which is about half an hour work OR you might have some more serious problems like me in the past.

The ENTIRE common rail system was f**ked beyond repair because of a dodgy injector pump. What year is the car?

it will get to a point that it cuts out and wont restart for a while. common prob as above, but needs to be code read asap

get the codes read else you may as well be pissing in the wind,it could be a number of things.
If it is the injectors,yeah its gonna be expensive,especially if they need to be renewed and reprogrammed.
