Does anybody know if its easy to swap the standard headlamps for the xenon ones as im thinking of getting a set of them.

Also if i dont get ford genuine one are there any companies that do similar headlamps

 

I know that on my Mondeo ST220 you can't just swop them over as the wiring loom is different, so probably the same on the Focus'

All after market ones are illegal (well, will fail an MOT test) because they don't self level I believe.

 

dont think i will go down that road then im not wanting to mess anything up on the car.

Speak to BenFRS on www.ukfordoc.com. He has done this on his Focus RS and it was almost a straight swap. Know of a couple of others who have done it as well with no ill-effects.

legally for MOT I think you need self levelling motors and headlamp washers with Xenons/HIDs
