Anyone been in a hot air balloon?
If so is it any good? Me missus keeps going on about going in one so though i'd get her it for her birthday, just not sure where to go to do it!! Didn't know whether it would be worth getting something abroad? Anyone done it in this country / abroad? Worth the money or a big con?!

ive done it in the lake district, my mrs got it for my birthday, it was excellent, highly recomended!!!

Ive done it across the Maasai Mara in Kenya. Totally totally awesome to be siliently floating along like that, and of course being where it was great to see the animals from that angle.
I am scared of heights so was a bit nervous but had no problems at all!

ive been lookng into this for a certain someones birthday!! BUT i think youll struggle to find somewhere that will just take you two up in the basket on youre own!
Most places have a minimum of 10 people in a basket!!! Unless you want to give them an extortionate amount of money to have it solo!

Nice one cheers chaps, i'll have a looky into it. Would be nice going over our local town to see what its like (or how shit it is!!!) from above but would be nicer (and dearer i'm sure!) abroad!!
