Help finding thread or pics...
I'm trying to find the thread with the pics of what I think was a 106 with the front suspension turrets cut and welded to lower the car.
I've tried searching for it but can't find it.
Does anyone know where it is, or have the pics saved?
Thanks

I've asked my geeky 106 friend, but he won't know till he gets back from work in a couple of hours. So if nobody knows in the meantime I'll get back to you.

Thanks Tim, it was posted on here a month or so back, along with pics of some cut springs and various other dodgy mods, but I can't seem to find it.

The one I'm thinking of, some monkey has been in there with a mig welder and welded a couple of spacer brackets into his turrets to lower the car, instead of either buying lowering springs, or even just cutting the standard ones.
The pics were posted on here after being taken from another forum, but I can't remember by who, or what forum it came from.

Nope, that's not the one, Bic's is a proper car!

I know I'm gonna get proper slated here but.....
If it wasn't arc welded like he's harnessed lightning in a storm.
Its not that far off a Group A cossie mod
He's still got full travel on the shock as long as it don't rub, he hasn't got adverse camber on the front wheels and the shock is more upright than if the car was lowered the normal way.
