This was on MSN home page and found it pretty interesting.

How many can you remeber?

How many hours can you remeber playing them for!!

Brings back some memories from before girls and cossies

I still have my 128+2 with a suitcase full of games... use to love green beret.... I remember when I finally upgraded to my Sega Master System and I thought wow, arcade graphics lol

I spent many an hour playing Gauntlet.... does anyone remember buying sinclair user mag and spend a day typing in system commands to create a game... wasnt it shift and J to load a game haha

Brings back memorys of through the wall, horrace go's ski-ing, manic minor, jetset willie etc etc. We spent many an hour with two tape recorders ear to ear & mic to mic screaching away as we copied games - piracy in its infancy.

Fooking hell....Spectrums eh, long time since ive seen one of them mentioned some where

In my parents loft I have, still boxed, a Sinclair Spectrum 16k, also a 48k+ and a 128k+2a....and around 500 games iirc.

Many an hour was spent with crazy colours and high pitched squeals coming from the tv only to be greeted with 'r tape loading error', even worse when it was a new level you were loading so you lost everything

I remember the spectrum very fondly and alot of the games, chuckie egg 1 and 2was me favourite
We had a 48k spectrum with a seperate tape player at first then it broke(joystick removed while switched on )
we then upgraded to a 128k with built in tape player and a james bond game with a gun

Had all of those, except Rainbow Islands & Football Manager, which was boring as fook (to me anyhow).

Who remembers Peek(ing) & Poke(ing), or keying in a machine code program from one of the mags and then getting over eager to see if it worked, and running it before saving to tape, just to get the old (C)Sinclair boot screen as the fooker crashed ?

My dad used to have a CB pluged into a tape recorder and him and his mate used to send and copy spectrum games over the airwaves, that was about 25 years ago, primitive version of the internet!
