Has anyone any experience of vibratechnics AND collins mounts??

I have a full set of vibratechnics on the escos (have done for a while), a while ago I changed the gearbox mount to a "new" standard one from ATM (yes,yes - I know!!! )

Needless to say the gearstick/box waggled all over the shop!!!! W**K

I've 'heard' that collins do two sorts?? (Competition and road) Is this correct?

Which ones are the least harsh, especially the gearbox one?

I have collins ones, as do most of my mates, the std collins mounts are great, and if I were you I would leave the gearbox one standard.

 

leave gearbox std, but upgrade the bushes in the gearstick cradle to solid or polybushes it feels so much better

i have vibratechnic and is fine on the engine, i wont use a gearbox one again

 

I did the cradle bushes the other day, so I may try the std gearbox mount again. I was just wandering if the collins mounts were more sociable as I have the vibratechnics ones.
