Personally I couldn't see what the problem was
Stu seemed to find it hilarious and just could not stop playing with it!

Chip,
I hope he has gone for a 0.48 a/r as well (especially with a roller bearing core!)? Will be a LOVELY car to drive with this, big progressive slides where the back-end comes back in all by itself as the power tails off above 6500rpm .
However, I bet you lot tricked him in to a 0.63 a/r housing .

No that isnt yours Lee, You just WISH yours had a proper vauxhall engine in it, instead of that old pinto boat anchor thing.
The vauxhall engine also has the common decency of putting the exhaust on the passenger side too, so the driver doesnt have to keep stepping over it
and check out the clearance that the narrow vauxhall head gives for the turbo, this is a T38, and isnt even close to the chassis
And thats on a no compromise exhaust manifold too, not some nasty 4wd cossie one.
Just accept you backed the wrong horse, flog off that old YB piece of junk, and get a proper motor in there.
Lighter, Cheaper, Fits better, drives nicer

Where is the Resto thread?
Trust me, the only thing holding that Turbo on was the boost and inlet pipe, which in turn were held on by the largest amount of cable ties and jubilee clips I have ever seen!
Hilarious!
Its mostly in bits now in a box in my garage.
I have to say, I actually witnessed Lee undo at least 3 bolts and 3 jubilee clips last night himself. Him mechanical skills are coming on a treat.
Next master class is in cleaning oil and dirt off everything!
Rainbum, for once I am with you! YELLOW HOSES.......WHAT IS HE THINKING?
GEE AY WHY

or alternatively duratec the fucker!
lighter, more modern and bags of tuning potential both NA and turbo!
