well, jbfletch was lying under my car all evening and couldnt find a bloody thing wrong well, nothing to explain the noise anyway


so, f**k knows whats wrong with it

it's booked in for tuesday so we'll see what they say

die engine mount ist kaput

also the smoke looks to be an oil seal on the rear of the gearbox all getting sorted

all the way though you've said the noise was from the back of the car
and now it's the engine mount and not your boot floor flaing through due to shonk y diff carrier design?

well if its under the car its not the gearbox mount thats the issue, it may be why theres a noise in the middle but the engine mount is at the front of the car as you know, unless you mean the gearbox mount

cant see how the symtom you discribe is fixed at the wrong end

oh engine mount is FAR from a mechanical failure too, its a comon thing from a high milage car and generally should change all of em as they work together

it would be too much hassle to order one in then for him to come meet me ect to make it worth hes while tbh

M parts are fucking mental prices anyway so i tend not to bother
