how did it go today jim? did the bastos car go well?

 

theres a few in the pictures and photoshop part of the forum

 

not good it was 1 db over on full boost and 3db over on low boost
so kicked off after 3 sessions
it was sooo bloomin quick 2day aswell as we were on slicks and it gripped like . . you get the point

bastos car had a few problems which we cudnt understand

but next outing when martin (the owner) gets used to it, it wil be really quick

credit to harvey etc for building that car it is a proper weapon and made every other car on track look slow even tho there was some quick motors out there ,it madethe day that car

 

you will have to try harder to get them to oulton park it should be a top day iv got a 2-2 1/2 hour drive there to so it wont just be him having a long drive

one ok my mates has just called in on his way home from national day & said it was disappointing the amount of cars black flagged for noise when there is an airport next door

yeah there was planes flyin ova all day which were drowning the noise of the cars

says its 105 dB static test for oulton park

the limit was 98db chris from derby rsoc got black flagged for being 99db I used to live in donington village for a few years all the wankers do up there is moan about the noise of airport and circuit they have both been there for years why dont they just f king move away. There the reason for crappy noise limits

 

i hope it isnt 98 if we do go cus we dont get away with it ! aat least @ donny we didnt!

noise limits were the reson we left the center box in the van exhaust.we got told to stop in the mk3 at brunters for being to loud same exhaust minus the center box

 

brunters is getting a bit more strict now
we were fine most the day buthad 1 back fire sorta thing and it set the meter off thats with the hayward and scott with 4 silencers

 

i went brunters the other week and blow a lamda sensor out sounded like exhaust had fell off, guy just laffed and said hope you get it fixed cus car was going really well

 

jimbo what did the marshalls say to harvey when he went in the pits in the morning then after that he just poodled about the track

 

jimbo,didnt see you about bud.saw harv and anne but they were busy chatting and didnt want to be rude and interpt.
got a few pics of harvs but none on track as i missed all the track action.

thats wen i was with him !
we came in and said we were at 101 db and we had turned the boost down !!
he said go out and take it easy past the pit straight
so we were flat out round most the track but on the pic straight we poodled by at 4000 rpm
shame for the spectators as well as us as im sure they enjoyed it as much as we did

we had to beat the f**k outa it to get the 9's under !

in the winter its going body shop to have the proper wrc style rear arches done
