i heard on the news the other days that the freeview people had changed someting to do with there broad casting and thousands of boxes no longer pick the signal up and the only fix is a new box.

New ones are about £15 
I have 4 of the things. I have one tiny tiny tiny one I take to sea with me. Works when you're close to land too! I can watch top gear on Dave all night

if left on all the time..unplug the main power lead on the back for 10 mins ..it may boot up and update ..
