Default Shane Lynch (ex-Boyzone) UK Drift Car Champion?

Eh? Just watching WRC programme on TV, looks to be current, tho might be a couple years old, with an interview with Shane Lynch, who used to be in Boyzone, reporting him as the UK Drift Car Champion?!?!?!

he not a champion at anything, but he is pretty good. better than anyone on here, thas for sure.

won a round of bdc or two, which is the lower league behind edc, currently in 6th, out of the 26 cars in pro. came 1st n 2nd the 1st 2 rounds tho.

done a round or two of EDC too, on 1 point (20th place) at mo, as he got in the top 16 shootouts once.

I knew he did a bit of rally cross and I think some Champ Car racing, didn't even know he was in Drift. But if he's not champion, how come they reported him to be and showed him recieving champion trophy?

miller-
Hardly anyone has real sponsorship that affects things much, certainly wouldnt affect how much practice theyd get or their cars performance spec, cant use that as an excuse.
My mate mike won a round of bdc pro in a bmw he bought for 50quid and has spent no more than about 1500quid on, then qualified FIRST at knockhill in EDC too, only to be knocked out by the eventual winner when he got a puncture.
Its not about how flash your car is, half the Saffs on here are bigger spec than most BDC cars.

yep, all sports and driving in general is a natural talent your born with, you either amazing, or rubbish, nothing to do with years of practice.

i reckon the odds are someone on here is better than schumacher, they just havent been given the sponsorship

driving lessons was just a scam started by BSM to take money off us all when we young and didnt realise we was born with driving ability.

as Al Murray would say, its iiiiiiiiiiiiiinstiiiiiiiinct

A lad that lives across the road from me does this ere drifting lark...he's got a matt black 3 series BMW that he threw a straight 6 into. He's been up against Shane Lynch in a twin drifting race, and won! The lad is doing really well, personaly I dont follow it but I gather from others that he's shocking the drifting scene with his mega low budget build and top driving skills. Good luck to the guy I say!

miller- its an old grey e30 on standard wheels with a single cam 3.5 from an old 5 series in it

604- thats mike that i know you on about i think. would be the only bmw thats beat him, and is good, and is from derby.
not matt black tho, just stock shitbox bmw grey.
i do know of a matt black 3.5 engine one from your way, but not a car that competes, one of mikes mates i think.

Until November I think he said? He's bought a very clean looking mk2 RX7 for his new road car...looks well enough for the money.

Thats the fella . Went to watch time attack @ brands last week and all tho it was good to watch some quick cars it was much better from a spectator point of view to watch the drifting lads. Who is the GIRL who drives the green thing ( TEAM GREEN i think?) She was the best drifter of the day without a shadow of a doubt

i have no idea who you mean mate

all the "team green" cars are driven by blokes, and none did the demo at Brands, 4 cars did it, all driven by blokes, none green.

tbh i cant think of any birds drifting a green car, there a few birds doing it, a couple are really good, but no clue who you mean?

Raced in the British GT Championship and came within a few laps of winning the 2003 championship at the last race of the season taking place at Brands Hatch when he crashed into a spinning backmarker he was lapping.

By the sounds of above he way better at racing than drifting

oh right, ok, well i still dont know then

kirsty came 2nd in amateur in the red/white starlet.
and julie got somewhere, top 8 i think, in pro, in that blue/black sklline.
but thats it.

there a few team green s14s that compete, and they always bring their mrs's with them who wear team green hoodies, so i think you got mixed up and it wasnt a bird driving, its not as if you can tell when they in the car with a helmet on.

miller- i know stiggy n kirtsty pretty well, suprised you think its gone to his head.
always seems well down to earth and normal, not as if being in EDC would have changed anything, still on a mega low budget, hasnt even got a trailer, just a-frames the car around, is skint and jus does most himself, and just seems to get on with life best he can even tho both his parents are terminally ill.

I don't think they can no but there are over 25,000 members on PF and there's a very good chance a few of them are experts at it and been doing it for a long time. Unless you have seen them all do it, your comment is idiotic.

Benny, once again, you are a retard and dont know what you are talking about.

In fact I do know 2, possibly 3 or 4 (ie there 2 that i have no idea if they are registered, but 2 are) on here that are registered that are about as good, but not regulars here.

But please, throw down some suggestions if you know better.

Anyone on here and the regulars are two completely different things. You should be more clear when making such statement. The fact that you know two, must mean there the only ones?

P.S calling someone a retard, right after spelling there name wrong, is retarded.
