The WR1 is a nice enough car... although they aren't quite as depreciation-proof as the 22B or the P1. They aren't lighning quick, and power is quite linear, defo a different drive to a Cossie, but they are way quicker down a twisty lane IMO.

They re-map to about 340bhp max on the standard turbo, but the STi bottom end and 6-spd box are a massive plus point.. because the stuff on the WRX is pretty poo and fragile at anything above 300bhp and 300lb/ft if used properly.

I've just put my STi up for sale as I plan to re-train and dont want it sitting in the garage doing nothing while I do that. Have a look at this link for details.

Cheers,
Grant

Have you seen the P1 prices lately? they've lost a lot of value in the last 6 months. 22b has awesome residules.

WR1 colour is a very girly colour IMO

Yea, specially the March 01+ cars.. as they fall into the higher tax bracket too. However, the low mileage mint P1s still command a reasonable price tag in comparison to a 'normal' Impreza of the same year being down around the 4k mark.
