any tumble drier repairmen on here? im having problems before it goes in the skip

Explain? A tumble dryer surely is no more complicated than a cossie engine

ok,its baffled me though
when you shut the door and press the on button it only works while the button is held in,as soon as you let go it stops,i thought it would be the switch so fitted a new one but its still the same,i then thought maybe its the micro switch for the door,[thinking the doors not closed properly],so i bypassed that but its no different, works fine till you let go of the button cant stand there with my finger on it for 50 mins either before someone suggests that

sounds like it may be a faulty relay imo. Fail safe and when your letting go it aint holding its self in.

well known ford tuners are washing machine and tumble drier experts IIRC

yes,there is 1 relay on it where the main power comes in at the back,1 of the wires off this relay goes to the microswitch,may be worth trying?
