Default strut brace

in the process of fitting a brace and i'm unsure of the best why to secure to the strut tops. The options are nut and bolt or is the best way to thread so there is no bolt underneath?

As said nut and bolt. Its a bit tight trying to get the ones at the back in but it can be done with a bit of patience. This is the easiest way to get the rear bolts on: Tape a bolt to the end of a thin screw driver or use a bit of blue tack or similar. Then have a second person working inside the engine bay, looking down through the drilled hole who can line up the bolt exactly using something like a braddle poked through the drill hole. Once bolt lined up the person underneath just keeps pressing the bolt up flush with the hole whilst the person screws the nut down from above. Takes a few second doing it this way. Good luck.

or mask tape the nut in the socket..just around the edge tho and then the rest is the same as above.

They aid stability big time under heavy braking, that is what I have found, and make car feel tighter and more composed.
