Because it's a road car . It rides comfortably, has "toons" and can do big mileage in a day (to the Ring), plus I can still go out for Sunday rides with the family (my daughter LOVES the car) .

I wouldn't....

Martin's car may have the legs above 165mph (Harvey's top speed due to gearing), but because of the gearing, Harvey's will get there faster, so will be quicker round track, especially as it has Ł10k worth of front end suspension set up .

Small world, must be two people going with the same name as both you and harvey.

As Helen is out in a "novice" session, and there is a Mike Rainbird and a Harvey Gibbs, both booked in on the same session!

Do you not feel its innapropriate to be out in a session dedicated to novices, who will turn up with an expectation that they wont have to keep moving over for quicker cars going past?

And do you not feel guilty that you will prevent novices from gaining track experience, by the fact you are taking up spaces specifically allocated to them?

It's not for me to dictate RSOC policy. I would have no issues with being shifted to what-ever group is deemed suitable.

I don't feel any guilt what-so-ever , as I booked at the last minute, so left plenty of chance for others to book before me, and I am a fully paid up member of the RSOC and have been for 14 years, so I feel that should stand for something .

Obviously, I will do my utmost to ensure the safety of all those on the track around me (including my passengers).

How many times have you been?
10?

If so, thats 20% of the time its let you down, and you actually sound happy about it.

Cossie owners are the most forgiving bunch in the world I reckon
