what about the reaction time to hit the brakes at 100?

Did you miss the season that Chris doherty,Stewart whyte,Andrew gallacher competed against steve he didnt have a easy life when they were racing him that was a few years ago, andrew's car has came a very long way from the old escort with not as much power he had back then.
I reckon steve scott & stewart whyte (in his escort) is only a small handfull of ppl that would give andrew a good race as steve & stewart can pedal for sure

First session - just do a lap, up the boost, next lap and so on until they black flag you - go and see the noise marshall in the tower and he will tell you how loud over the limit you are then you can have the rest of the day at that level.

Its easy justin

No, I was only on 1.5 bar, as I dare not turn it up any higher, as they didn't give you any "lives", but I didn't get tugged all day .

At least with Donny, I can try it on all three settings and I know the lowest is acceptible.

Can you not get a system made that will enable you to run full boost on these tracks.

Seems crazy having all the toys but too much noise!

I "think" I have a system that is quiet enough (four silencers), and with 3 lives I can find out for sure at Donno.

However, at Bedford they had introduced a new rule that the instant you tripped the meter - game over, end of day (previously you got a second chance at least). I wasn't prepared to ruin my day and see if the system was indeed quiet enough, so just kept it on low boost all day .

Silly question i guess, but how can they question 115db when there's Jets flying overhead?? or do they just do it on the constant noise and cars being out there all the time??

And also, why at some of the trackdays do they allow full noise, like the one they hold over the christmas period?? i'm baffled..

That has always bemused me as well, but allegedly aeroplanes make a different noise that is not so noticable .

They are only allowed so many "full noise" days a year in compliance with their agreement with the local council.

I have a bung already, but I need to drill the silencer to secure it..... I may actually do this tomorrow. Not that bothered to be honest as I have already been offered a 95db system that can be made to fit, so I will be considering that in the medium term.
