300? like to see that, I have seen a fairly modded one, don't know what it was running, fairly specced up, must have been close to 200, fookin flew...how long it lasted was another matter

Capacity doesnt have that much to do with the headline power figure. It's the ability to rev (without the internals failing ) that determines how much power an engine can make. Think of an engine as an air pump. More rpm, more air is pumped=more power.
Not saying a Uno can do it but just making the point about power and capacity.

I have owned back in the day 220bhp(1989) Uno and know of one with a very near to 300 bhp that was running an 8 injector set up with water injection 
so DONT knock them if modded correctly they can fly and embarrased a good few sporty cars

unos are awsome cars Used to have one so am biassed, but very very quick and make RS turbos look silly with some light tuning shame they made of tin foil and rubber bands though 
mine got sold when the bloke MOT'ing it called me over and stuck his hand through the wheel arch and pulled the throttle pedal down

and Renault turbo 
bought mine NEW £8000 got sold after 3yrs ownership and only problem I had was when I blew the box @ the pod and had to wait 4mths for a g/gear due to the box in mine was from the Tipo sport import jobby(all done on warranty and with courtesy car

right iam a uno turbo specialists and work on them for a living and iam none as ABS TURBO S i have on off the best reputation for uno turbos and build and race them up to 300 bhp but will prove to cost £4.000 £5.000 so it is true you can get 300 bhp and built one my self for my demo car that was a guinuine 300 bhp and run 2.5 bar off boost and held it ther with a hybrid t3 off a cossy 9 injectors rs 500 intercooler and a msd mangments not many uno turbo can do 151 mph and brake 2 body shells .. i have no sold the car after some bloke got rid off his gtir sunny pulsuar to buy the uno wich he did so now doing a twin engine uno turbo dont for get powere to wate
