Karl,

picked it up on Saturday got it all ready for ND.

i was busy sorting a alternator probem with the car and hardly had time for anyone tbh.

i hope there will be number 3.

Dan,

the dash did pin my legs in,but i struggled and got out.

fortunatly yes,all ok ish.

Davemark,

weird isn't it.

Jacko,

see what happens.

can certainly agree with you Jacko after seeing her new car..no-where near as bad as mine.

it does make you think about safety in older cars.

looking at the way the seat is broken and me being a bit of an expert when it comes to crashing id say the gear box has smashed or the lugs have come off the block

Zero sympathy from me over this, you admitted in the last thread that you caused the accident because you were speeding, lucky you didn't kill anyone speeding in a built up residential area.

If this had been someone in a maxed up corsa or saxo im sure everyone's responces would have been totally different somehow

Just because its a cossie folk say oh gutted for you mate etc etc, bollocks to that and hope you get dealt with accordingly and lose your licence, one less dangerous knob on the road.

fair play though

it's twisted up the same as fitz's cossie from a few years back, the transmission tunnel will have buckled and you don't know whta that will have done to the box, fitz's motor has ha the engine pushed back onto the box (which had broken) and the prop broke the back end of the box and broke the diff

unsurprising really as the escos is really a sierra in drag so it's coming up to a 25 year old design at the very least
