As far as I was aware he was life banned months ago, so any username he signs up with now, is liable for deletion at the point in time the mods are sure its him.

As far as im aware, the slate was started again when we moved to vbulletin (as the hacker deleted all the ban logs), Phil was then banned again since then.

Well I guess most people would say that the the time for trying is when you are warned you face a life ban, not after one while using an account you arent allowed in the first place.

 

Shame the paying members on this site cannot put it to a vote whether or not to let him back on.

 

Should they do that every time admin implements the clearly described rules, or just each time you say so?
IMHO the fact we ALL signed up to the rules, and decided to use the site based on them, meant we voted that we agreed with those rules, and therefore by default are implicitly giving our vote that they should be upheld.

I think the whole 'life-ban' thing is way OTT.

It's an internetforum for fuck's sake...ban some for 24 or 48 hours but not for life...Jesus Christ...it's the internet....hardly a real crime to be done on here is there?
