well the 3dr cost me the same amount that i got for my insurance payout on the sapphire which wasnt that good to say the least,so cars cost me nothing there.
apart from keeping the engine/turbo,cooler and afew other bits n bobs i broke the sapp and recouped approx 4.5k in parts
so far i have certainly spent no where near that amount on the 3dr.....so all n all the 3dr has cost me fook all when you do the sums im actually quids in lol

I did TA in 2006, TOTB in 2006 & 2007, ScoobyLive 2006, 2007 and 2008.
Was supposed to be competing in TOTB this year, but lost interest in the car so did not bother. Interest has now been regained (again lol) and the car is having some more work completed, starting in the next couple of weeks. Possibly looking at near 600bhp, so will be looking to compete again next year.
A 10 sec. 1/4m would be nice, together with some high placed circuit standings.
Car is now back to standard interior spec & weight, to make the goal a bit more interesting.

my impreza stands me in 65 quid for a rad, 2 quid for antifreeze, 20 quid for 3 services, 250 quid for the rear spoiler and painting, 400 quid on wheels and tyres ( though i have now got 4 different sets of wheels for it pmsl ), 100 quid on brake pads and discs all round ( no quibble 2 year warranty to replace them aswell !!!! ) erm,,,,,,, erm,,,,, oh and 5 quid for a albainian car wash, also 195 quid tax, 1200 quid insurance, 40 quid mot AND 117 QUID FOR THE OLD BILL WHO TOWED ME AWAY THE CUNTS
not bad for 6 months of motoring EVERY DAY and 25laps of the ring and its spends alot of time at 130ishh aswell on motorways !
BUT the amount on fuel,,,,, ive spent in 6 months including the ring 1600 quid in fuel which is a down side i guess pmsl 200 quid a month plus 400 for the ring trip i think it was aswell as other runs ive done perhaps ive missed but thats all in 6 months
best car i EVER bought im impreza !!!, only paied 4500 for it too which is overpriced for the car,,,, but UNDERPRICED for the reliability its had,, almost as good as my BMW 325i,,,,,, but that cost me 1500 quid to buy and in 2 years i spend 300 quid on it in parts including a clutch !
ive had the BMW for 3 years now maybe a little more,,,,, aint sold it as its been soo good to me and still parked at my work carpark

the engine side of things, both current and previosu, have cost at least £12k
i've spent in excess of £3.5k on brakes
it's had 5 gearboxes and 4 rebuilds (one of these boxes i bought new for just over £800, broke it, got it done under warranty, broke it again, then they charged me for replacing it
![Surprised](https://passionford.com/forum/images/smilies/bigcry.gif)
i've spent about a grand on different exhausts
the interior trim upgrades have also taken their toll
getting it resprayed a efw times
bumpers
bonnets
they all add up to the totals really
i did have a list of everything that curenrlty on it and it's vaulve which totaled up to about £21k at the prices i paid for it, but this has been spent over the past 10 or 11 years
it's not just the big things, it's the little things that really start to eat away at the figures, the spa gauges i'ev got, the elliot rev counter, boost gauges, i am fairly sure i was the first person to buy a double a pillar gauge holder from nomad way way back in the day when gauges hadn't even been thought about
![Surprised](https://passionford.com/forum/images/smilies/bigcry.gif)
all the extra areoquip piping costs a prety penny too
then it's the buhes, all the suspension stuff, wheels, i spent about £400 reconning the rear beam and hubs and brakes and stuff too way back in 99, the list, if i were to put it up, would be pretty much all encompasing, i've even changed the doors to 92 spec ones, and the central locking kit and the sunfoor
just about the only thing that's orignial is the shell, even the rack and crossmember have been changed twice

not including what i bought the car for, or what id spent on it in the 2 years of enjoying it and using it and what had been done with it,
but in the past 2 years the car has been off the road im now just over 35k, and its still not finished!!!![Surprised](https://passionford.com/forum/images/smilies/bigcry.gif)
it was someone that said something to me earlier that got me adding up a few extra silly bits, then i realised ive got over 3k just in the dash!

I am due to have flat shifting mapped over the next couple of weeks, but again Litchfield had this as well and never had problems with syncro's etc.
Running competition AST 3 way remote cannister shocks (just under £3k).
The turbo is an AET standard position GT30 hybrid, with a 55lb wheel and an approximately .63 exhaust housing. Car runs 530bhp / 550+lbft on a MAHA RR and 440bhp / 470lbft on a HUB DYNO running 1.75bar boost.

it went through several incarnations
don't forget that when i started modding it, there weer very few peole who knew what they were doing so there was a lot of trial and error going on
first up there were the grooved discs (£120), with different pads (£60), then slotted discs (£140), with different pads (£55), then i got some 4wd cossie brakes (£150), which didn't fit, then i got some cossie 4wd calipers (£120), then some 2wd discs of various types (£90-£140), then i went through a phase where i bought a set of 4 pot willwoods that had't been used at all (£300), so natuarlly i had to get some bells and discs to suit (£550), so i had to wait till i got a set of 16's (£300), then i got some 300mm discs to suit (the same £300 as mentioned just previously so don't count them twice), then it was time to bolt eh turbo's on so i went with the 330's (£650) using the same calipers, and now i've got a set of 355's (£670)ready to bolt onto the front
not forgetting the rears which i've been playing with as well, first it was the upgrade to 273's (£400), then the upgrade to vented 273's (£80), and now i'm going for teh 4 pot and 330's on the rear to match the 355's on the fornt![Grin](https://passionford.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif)
120 + 60 + 140 + 55 + 150 + 120 + 90 + 140 + 300 + 550 + 300 + 650 + 670 + 400 + 80 = 3825
