Default KA turbo in cambridge

was talking to my misses and her friends when there was the noise coming down the road.
sounded like a turbo had put its arm inside the engine and was riping th gutts out of it, when it went past it was a blue KA. there was me thinking it was going to be a 500 bhp skyline or something

Was a light blue Ka Turbo for sale on Pistonheads recently... IIRC it had cream/light grey leather and Escort Cossie wheels on it. Looked nice IMO.

if your hearings that bad you cant tell difference between a 4cyl turbo and a tuned skyline engine then it might not even be a turbo

yeah a bloke off fiesta turbo brought it with the rear 1/4 stuiffed in and bent beam.

he has had it repaired and done fair bit more on it now and had it mapped by MSD and apparently it flies now.

nice little car, and it was for sale not so long ago, dont know if it still is...

yes i now own the said lee blakes ka, though i live in wales so wasnt me

i bought in january looking very sorry for it self, it hadnt been looked after at all since lee sold it

i ve since repaired exterior damage, 2 new new racing arches, a new rear beam sport ka rear drum brake conversion, 300mm front brake up grade, servo and master cylinder upgrade, 4 new tyres, new low comp engine, t25 hybrid turbo, new exhaust, mapped by msd, cosworth fuel pump, apexi avcr, 18psi.

interior is starting to show its age so that will be getting sorted very soon

power wise was 179bhp 204 ft lbs @ 12psi before it was sorted by msd (rolling roaded on dyno dynamic rollers in may)

hopefully see 190 with the new modifications

it was for sale but i have been messed about so many times it has since been withdrawn from sale!

you know you can get a computer that tells you what colour the car is, any good paint place should have one.

stavros, no one like a smart arse.

Its your Ka that I'm talking about Gary. Looked nice in the pictures on Pistonheads. Is that colour Amparo Blue.... thought it had been featured a wee while ago, it looked familiar anyway.

Grant

Bouncing off the limiter sounded cool, went well as well, about 240bhp
