just been offered a black 2000 model integra type -r.

turbo conversion,nitrous kit,controllers for everything,traction control,brembo's
apparently over 340 bhp!
all work done at tdi in essex?
looks a nice thing with a great spec but would something like this really be worth 11-12k?im not too clued up on modded hondas

my mate bought one of those on a pplate with loads on big receipts for conversion interior a bit tatty other than scarred the pants out of me and i have a 330bhp cosworth paid 7500 struggled to sell for 6500.
Hope this helps but dont think it would fetch that sort of money

off the top of my head i was thinking 7500-8k tops,if its all been done proper and has all the receipts etc.......

just had him send me some more spec over;
It has an HKS ball bearing Turbo. Engine has all been fully rebuilt and strengthened inc Here goes!! :-
he has shown me some bills-one for 12k amongst them!
wy would you blow 50k on something like this?

It wont be 2.2 if its on a standard crank, and he dont mention that.
Turbo might be HKS and balll bearing, but its just a off the shelf turbo kit HKS do, its basically a little Garrett GT25/GT28, on a crappy cast manifold, kit meant for stock engines to give em 250odd bhp IIRC.

Thats true Stavros... hmmm, how's he managed to get an extra 400cc then. I had heard that you could use an F20 crank from an S2000 in the B18 block, but then that only really gets us to 2000cc as well......... unless the USDM 2.2 S2000 crank does the same job as the UK F20?

The problem with the turbo honda world is you can pic up a bolt on turbo kit for fuck all money these days which will look good and make the right noises, however loads of these cars claim internal mods but have rock all done to them and a poverty bild in reality.
Ps i have never came across this car in my few years of scowering the honda forums etc

I am building a turbo ek9 now so i know exactly what it costs.
for a start there is no way you could "rebore" a b18 block to a 2.2 if you wanted to bore it past 81.5mm (81mm standard) you have to spend s fortune sleeving it. If it is 2.2 it will be stroked
Im sure them brembos are the 4 pots of the DC5?
Cast iron mani on a car with 50k spent on it?
I would give 8.5k for it and break it.... this car has been for sale for agesss. It will break for a fortune
