Default getting some chrome work done (where??)

hi all, as per everything else i cannot get chrome plating done in ireland anywhere i want to get all my shinny bits under the bonnet done ie tanks, caps, brackets, strut brace heat sheild etc etc, bonnet catch, turbo housing, inlet manifold, brake bells front and rear (when my rear big brakes arrive) who can i trust in the uk to do a top job as the web is full of companys and i dont know who to use, did anyone get work done and can reccomend someone, as the last thing i need is to get a crap job done or having bits lost or miss placed. and any ideas of a rough price or how do they price a job ??

Patrick,

Why dont you use Martins guy in Crewe (Niphos)

He done all Martins chrome stuff, nuts & bolts etc. Its not cheap but they
do a bloody good job.
Im sure if you send it to Martin he will nip down with it all and tell them
exactly what you want

Well i paid £20 for 4 no headrest stalks done at my local Chromers and the
quality is top notch. I use a company called Willowchrome in St Helens.
They do all my yellow passivating and chroming and they have never let
me down yet plus they are probably half the price of Niphos as they
wanted £40 to do the stalks.
Its not the actual chroming thats dear, its the polishing afterwards
that bumps the price up

Some pics below of some work they have done for my S2

If you get me some decent quality pics of each item you want chromed
and pm me them i will get a rough quote for you as im over there on Tue
to collect some bits im having done.
