Default Can you get spliffs for fish?

My parrot fish is huge now and chasing all the other chilled out fish around for no reason

Might have to get rid of him, bet he is worth £50 now..

Anyone used a divider or anything to seperate him from the rest of the tank (with holes so he can see the other fish, just not go after em?)

Or do I just get a bigger fish than him, I do have the filtration to cope etc

But the Angel fish is the next size down, and I remember him chasing others when he was the biggest.

Yes I have moved the tank around to neutralise terratory..

Any ideas? (NOT pirhana based please - think these are salt water anyway)

I used to have BIG parrot fish called dave, and he was a little fucker too!! If you stuck your finger in the water he'd aim straight for it and 'latch' on to it!! he bullied EVERYTHING! But, as soon as i put a plec in, he tried to bully him, but after finding out he wasnt that bothered he gave up!!

he was sound after that!

have you tried feeding them bloodworms?

Parrots should not be kept with other kinds of fish for this reason, they are very aggressive but also have a lot of character. As soon as I move the algae magent he attacks it, and goes straight for my fingers.

Do you have any largeish pebbles? These fish like to build - they will redesign the tank to their own specifications. Mine has dug a big hole in the gravel, then lined it with pebbles, and then moved one of the plants next to the hole - he's happy for the moment, but will no doubt soon start redesigning - it's comedy to watch.

Yes I have 3 large pebbles and he is constantly swimming into them, he also picks up the pebbles and makes "holes" in the tank and goes mad when u try and put it right.

He isnt TOO bad at the moment, but I'm sure he will get worse as he gets bigger.

Lol, mine was on a building mission last night - making random holes, not sure what he has planned for them yet.. As you say, they go crazy if you try and put any pebbles they've messed with right.
