I know, i reckon he did it, all it takes is a few blunders by the police and lack of evidence and they have a weak case. He's got a big criminal record and obviously has experience. Just look at Kevin Spacey, no one knew he was actually Keyser Soze

I dont... the guy is a weirdo, but he's meant to be slightly 'simple' going by what the press have said. The murder was well concealed and there were no (meaningful) traces on his clothes to link him to the scene.. plus, I heard on the radio yesterday that he is on CCTV somewhere else (benefits office??) at a time which would rule him out as its too far away for him to in the time after the shooting. I think that the Police needed to close the case, so tried their hardest to get a conviction out of him after finding out that he had a bit of an obsession over Dando.

innocent and a great miscarriage of justice imo,dando was at the height of her career and she was a nuisance to the underworld.Barry George was the perfect scapegoat!

Couldnt agree more with doby(phil).Who saw the programe with donal mcintyre? guys name was ian tucker i think...He got questioned on the dando murder or there was a roumer that underworld ppl had it in for her,Then a simpleton got framed for it pure shame i think.

it does seem to smack of an underworld pro hit-man type elimination. to do it in broad daylight being a bit cheeky sending out a warning type of thing....

There's no evidence to speak of. He was convicted on the basis that the police found a tiny speck of gunfire residue in his pocket - which probably came from the police's crime lab. It's hardly the first time that the Metropolitan police have put away an innocent (well innocent of this crime anyway) man is it? A bit unfortunate that he's also a gun fanatic and local weirdo.

I think he did it. Didnt he rape some dorris on her doorstep before at some point? He is a stalker. Their was a description of a man that looked like him that went up to some bird that looked like Dando near her house thinking it was her, tapped on her window and shit it when he saw it wasnt her in the car.
He apparently says he wants to do a lie detector test? but we all know that wont happen. He also apparently is looking to fuck off to South America. Now i know it might be a place that he just fancys getting out of the limelight to but aint it also a good place that if your found guilty of something you cant get deported like Ronnie Biggs situation?

Innocent. IQ of 75, suffers from aspergers syndrome which is a form of autism, people who know him reckon if you sent him to the supermarket for 3 items he would forget 2 of them, hardly an ideal candidate for what the police were calling "a perfect crime".
Scape goat, I reckon the coppers realised they didn't have a cat in hells chance of finding the real killer and figured he'd do.

Thats exactly what i think, the police needed a conviction and they were able to make him fit the bill nicely..
Got to rember its not the first time the police have got it wrong

The old bill have a habit of nicking you for things you haven't done so I think the fella is genuinely innocent, they just needed someone to put in the frame as it was a high profile case,

I'm not sure how it would feel to be found guilty and know you are going to jail for such a long time when you have not done anything. Not to mention the anger and pain his family would of been feeling.
Such a waste of a life if he didn't do it.
