insurance instead of giving me a new laptop re sebnding me a card through with a grand pre loaded ![Wink](https://passionford.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_wink.gif)
so instead of blowing it all on a laptop in gonna split it and buy a tv for say 500 and same on alaptop
now are there any hidden extras like the leads etc with these tv's?
i will want to buy a wall bracket and chase the wires into the wall
either that or it can sit on a stand in the corner if its small and smart looking enough
just after some advice, i know theres allways posts like this but im not really in the know woud love some help
basicly 500 - 600 tops on a tv

currys ost opular around 500 uwards are 37" which i spose isnt a problem, its not a massive living room we have.
any help appreciated

what about cables etc do they come with tv? i only ask as once i channel them into the wall thats it i cant change it, if i want to add a surround sound kit will i need extra cables etc?
from what i here your better off buying decent casbles can anyone point me in the right direction for what i would need?

Everyone says this, cos no one thinks it through.
You channel the wall out with a chaser. You then fit a length of large conduit in the wall - if your wall is thick enough, fit thin drain pipe. Now you have LOADS of room to run cables, and if you need to change them or run new ones, all you do is drop a length of string down from the top, tie to new cable at the bottom and pull up. Simple.
You fit one of these at each end;

Which tidies it up nicely

so regarding the connection cables whats what? is a hdmi a replacement for a scart?
i have sky plus to connect to the tv if that makes any differencee?
