How it was before:

How it is now:
![](http://stuhyde1.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/newfish.jpg)
Was having probs keeping the wood clean, and also looked a bit cluttered, I think with a plant each side, it should look ok.
Added a few new friends tonight as well, they are hiding as in a new habitat

Oscar (yes we name our fish as well Maria
) is a right loony - he chases other fish. With that in mind, I knew we couldnt get small fish as he ate the last of the tank conditioning tetras.
As I said in my 1st post, I wanna get a plant each side, and Ive probably got the filtering capacity for a few more fish. But I have to take into account the size that they will grow.
Oscar CAN grow to the size of a CD, and one of the 3 I bought today can also get pretty big. I dont want to over populate even tho I'm over filtering.
Man, I'd LOVE a marine tank.
Not just yet tho, I'm still young

its easy to name them when theres a few,,, when you have guppies that breed AND tetras in a 5 foot tank then its pointless as they all look the fucking same
my fish at work has a few names, the police called it vulcan, we called it Autex and my little girl calls it chris,,,, cause when i brought it home i told her its chris's fish and she thought i said " its chris the fish"
was saved from a house fire my fish AND in the local papers

If you're having probs keeping things clean get a pleco in there (can't see one?)
My tank was the same, green stuff growing everywhere.. stuck a pleco in there and he had it completely cleaned up in a couple of days!
I don't even have to clean the glass or anything anymore, he keeps it all sparkling.

Ive never had a problem with the wood? in fact its the rocks which go black and green in not time u will find.
I actually prefered the "before" pic.
Why have u not filled it to the top. thats my pet hate, nothing worse than seeing an air gap and the dry scumy glass. get the hose in there man!!!
