Default Mocal oil cooler.. anyone had any problems!?

Cos i just have! LOL

went to a mates house in the car, as i pulled up and got out i noticed a whiff of oil... which is strange as the car dont leak.

or didnt..

Pool of oil under the car, and a trail of oil from the car for about 2 miles up the road!!!!

13row mocal oil cooler has been happily sat on the car for about 2k miles now, on the proper RUBBER mounts, and suddenly it decides to split!!
Seems one of the end tanks is leaking on it.

dumping approx 1.5-2litres of oil down the road
nearly a new engine needed !

anyone else ever had this?! oil cooler is only about 3 or 4 months old!

enough slack in the hoses, nothing was tight (hose length wise) .. and it was mounted on them rubber bits that mocal sell with the coolers. its not the actual unions that have gone, there was no strain on them!
its as if the actual cooling fin part of the cooler has become seperated from the end tank, very slightly!!
of course the oil being under pressure, its PISSED it out all over everything LOL..

i'll try and find a pic of how i had it mounted
