Had a local lad, who is a motorcycle stunt/street rider, come in to us yesterday wanting to use our workshop for an airbrush artist to come and do his pickup. He wanted us to do the laquer once it was finished. So we agreed and he popped in at 4 yesterday afternoon and got started on it.

Took a few pics as it got on. It was awesome to watch him work and has got me thinkin about what I can get done

Artist was a local fella called Kev Bambra and I highly recommend him as he is very very good, quick and loves his work.

Its not something Id have done to any of my cars either but the quality of workmanship was just great. Kev does a lot of truck work and fairground work as well as a lot of custom bikes.

It took 4 hours from it driving in to kev being finished with it ready for us to mask up and laquer. Very quick worker and he is just sooo into it once he starts. Top fella.

He did it for free to Grahams truck as long as he let him sign it and he promotes Kevs work at shows and tours. Plus they are friends from years ago when Kev was a sponsor for the team.

He said the job he did on this one would have been Ł350 - Ł400 which I dont think is bad at all for the work involved.

they showed the guy who invented this 'real flames' style on one of those discovery shows.. it was amazing the speed he did it, and all with just a piece of shaped card and an airbrush.
