well ill give it a shot. me and my mate currently use the 2.3 v6 for banger racing. this normally goes in to a volvo.
as of next season we will be allowed to use injection so we are thinking of changing over to the cosworth v6.
the question we have is how differnt are the 2 engines mounting wise? and also gearbox wise. the reason i ask is we have got mounts and a prop made up for the the current 2.3 and are hoping that the transfer will be easy.

2.3 cologne?
well the cosworth one's pretty much the same as the 2.9 and 2.8 12v cologne, its a direct replacement - and im ptetty sure that the 2.3 is the same basic block etc. too from reading the v6 sierra haynes manual. that covers 2.3, 2.8, 2.9 and it rarely makes any special mentions to the 2.3 re: bottom end.
