Nearly as bad as the ignition map someone I know of ended up from a well known cossie tuner mentioned in this thread recently on his cosworth.

Up to .2 bar of boost, was running 30-38 degrees of advance, nothing too terrible
Over that, it went to 12 EVERYWHERE on the entire map, so was flat as fuck as it came on boost, and then at the top end detted nicely.

Some right fucking botch jobs happening out there!

Right to start things off....

that was my post off another forum. I have sent porkie a message about this behavour about taking my material and content without my permisson.

I stand by what i said about the company, IM NOT HAPPY with them and i wanted to let other people know about experance with them. YES the allan key is REAL and not a FAKE and if anyone disagrees then come to me about it. YES my engine management light comes on when i use full throttle so there is no apprantly about it!! I believe (my opinion) this company is good at the work they do... BUT if we have something to say about them, make sure its FACT not FICTION because it not nice for any company to be slagged off by PEOPLE who have NOT been there and had work done.

Finally, i was offered compo for this MISTAKE and not yet taken them up on there offer (something porkie failed to say). After my compo I, MYSELF will NOT be using them for my CAR as im unhappy with there work standard BUT who's to say they havent learnt from there mistake?

You are only posting this now because YOU have had a phonecall off Engine Advantages as they have seen this post!

The internet is a small place mate.... You have just learnt that. YOU slagged EA off massively. All I did was warn by Ford chums that they have had another problem

AND if you read what I put... I said 'to be fair its an honest mistake that anyone could make'

'have a look at this'
he dont like it??? dont post up in the first place then mate. lol

people on here are warey of EA, as they are a well known 'cossie tuner'
and have been known to make mistakes!! so i think we probably WANTED to know about this too! TBH..

Yes... but the reason he doesn't like it is EA rang him.

I was merely saying... 'look at this'

Surely it doesn't really matter that it was put on here - The exact same material was available in the first post you put on another forum? Regardless where EA actually saw it, you put it in the public domain, not Porkie.

I do hope you get it sorted however, and that you reach an amicable resolution with EA.

Yes I have had grief in the past and after your pm last night I discussed it with my wife and decided that later on today I will start a thread explaining everything just to clear this up as it's no where near as bad as rumours have it and it does NOT relate to Ford vehicles.

You may be a little upset about my remark but at least I can hold my head up and say that I produce excellent workmanship and have never ripped anyone off, unlike some eh? In the last quarter (three months for the thick) we processed £290K, did I have any unhappy customers? NO not a single one!!

Full respect for that !!

Think most of us have had grief in the past (especially me ), but the type of person you are & work you produce far far outweights anything in the past (as long as it not murder or something lol)

The past has no bearing on the present, apart from learning from mistakes & opening eye's etc

Because as 11 years have passed the original truth has now got so far distorted. This was done by people adding their little bit of spice everytime they pass on their version, plus it will hopefully stop people who should know better from giving their version. Btw I know the main culprits and you will be named! Edited to say that one has just been already!!

Think yourself lucky pal!! Because when EA totally wrecked my £15,000 engine (well thats what they charged me anyway!!), I was told to sling my hook and wasnt offered anything!! Not a bean!! No tell a lie....I was offered a rebuild at a "preferential rate"!! That means my butt hole would have only been partially opened, as opposed to the full blown "lets get the arse clamp out and have a good look in there!!"

There are VERY few people in the motor trade, especially the cossie tuning one, who dont have some history of shady activity, it seems to be how just about everyone got their stake money to setup properly in the first place.

The most common one for people around the birmingham area seems to be that employees were driving new cars straight out of longbridge, to garages who were stripping them for parts.

A well known mini parts company for example were doing it with mini parts, and ok fair enough we all know its wrong etc, but if you own a company selling parts, and "victimless" (ie not stolen from a person but lost out of the backdoors of a factory) new cars were turning up for a few hundred quid a time that satisfied totally the parts supply issues you are having to give your customers exactly what they want in terms of brand new engines etc, I reckon you would have to be a fucking saint not to get involved.
I bought parts off that company, despite knowing with 99% certainty where they had come from (ie longbridge) and I bet most other people would on here now too, if one of the cossie tuners had a supply of new cylinder heads or whatever, they would be selling like hotcakes to people who think of themselves as honest wether it was the backdoor or the frontdoor of the cosworth factory the heads came from!

TOTALLY different ballgame to car theives who take someone's pride and joy IMHO, still not right legally of course.

Ive no idea what the exact details are of your past martin, but if like I would hope its just somthing like that mini company were doing, with just accepting a few cars driven out the longbridge factory by employees looking for a quick buck selling them, as opposed to going out and stealing people's cars from them, then its probably a good idea to state it, as im sure most people would be able to see that massive difference, and it would stop all the snide comments that seem to continually haunt you on here.

Chip, that's the thing... It's nothing like you describe in fact when I list my wrong doings you will be shocked at how little I did
