someone went to jail for reseting keys....cant see anyone telling you how to do it. If their is a way.

Best bet is to buy a new loom, matching ecu and key chips.

there is a way, you have to swap around the pins to the ecu and chop away the pats sensors on loom. This is presuming its an external pats. I cant tell you which ones though coz i dont know. You will have to get a manual and look exactly what pin goes where to ecu and figure from there.....

Sure there was a discusion on here about it being rewireable, Surely the prison sentence was something to do with theft of vehicles i would be well pist if i got sent down for removing my immobiliser lol, Bypassing my own imob is cheaper than sourcing a new ecu lockset too

i understand that earlier pats systems could be sorted diy, but later, i think its 97 onwards, cant remember now, the pats is integral to ecu, and also a lot of subsystems run off the pats. And if you use your ford dealership privlages as a dealer, or tuner, to be able to reset the in and out codes from a ford key to a car, you are abading and abetting robbery apperently.
