VW 08 is right but if that doesn't work then try this.

Right click just below the address bar *within a grey area* and select menu bar then you'll see the menu bar which says File, View, Edit etc. Then use File and Exit on the window size you want it to remember.

HTH
Tim

it only works for me if you manually enlarge it too full screen, dont use the button to the left of the 'x', drag the window to top left corner, then use the size thing in bottom right to stretch it out, then when does close it.
also make sure this is the only window open when you do it.

Simple mate.

Expand the window to full size, and hold down SHIFT while you close it.

HTH.

i have done this a few times now, held down shift whilst closing after both expanding by dragging the screen bigger, and after restoring it using the top right button.

still opens links in a smaller window

its fine when clicking on internet explorer on the desktop, opens full size. Its only when i open a link on an existing page. even if i close all windows and then maximise the small one, and hold shift whilst closing, it still does it!

Are you closing the windows using the [X] in the top right corner?

Or are you going to File > Exit?
