They're being undercut in the Jap market by the mass produced stuff from China etc. Shame really as they were good bits of kit! As said though, could have had a bit more growl

same story across most of British manufacturing, I work for an aerospace engineering company that has been going since 1946, last year we went into administration, fortunately we have ben bought out by a bigger company that has a lot of money to invest.
problem is if it can be made cheaper elsewhere then it will be done, we are now trying to get into a market of stuff that other people cant make

Such a shame, have had magnex systems on previous cars and the quality has been absolutely spot on. I heard also that clifford alarms are in trouble, although i cant confirm that.

I did hear that Peco are also in trouble and I notice their website is offline for maintenance.
Sign of the times.
We've just done a run of proper stainless exhausts for MkI & II Escorts and even though the quality is superb, the fit is excellent and there is a lifetime warranty, people will still buy the cheaper, ill fitting, poorly made, mild steel alternatives then bitch about how shit they are and how long they take to fit and that they've cracked.
Seems people just dont want to pay for quality any more in this country.
Sign of the times.
