Default cams for my 3 door

hi there guys need some advice please i see a set of BD14/BD10 CAMS would they make a big diffrence on my car?heres some spec
t38
ported polished flow
3 bar map sensor
500 intercooler
lightend balanced flywheel
grey injectors
etc etc
cant mind it all but how much bhp and torque rufly would i get?5-10 bhp,10-20 bhp etc etc and is are they worth buying?i geuss what i am saying i know they are uprated but are they mental or just uprated

go 14 inlet on that spec mate, my old 38 engine seemed to love it

i have a 15 and 14 but i cant see why a 10 and 14 wont work, try it test it its all about trial and error

yeah but you will need a suitable ecu mod to get the full potential/safety on fueling

well as a basic rule yes but a more suitable chip or remap is better, who supplied your chip?

YOu can fit a bd14 without pockets. Few people have with no drama. I wouldnt persoanlly though

yeah you could be right there Rich, didnt want him to think its a no problem fitment though just incase not that anything on a cossie ever is!

hi yeah i think i do they are over sized 0.5 they if that means anything? thanks for the help

craig oversized pistons just mean the block has been bored 0.5 slightly bigger to accept them mate

i run twin bd14s and yes it is a bit lumpy and not as responsive at low down but i seen big improvments at 4.5k once dialled in,although i havent tun standard on this engine

as for needing pocketed pistons my last head was skimmed low and when we fitted new head there was no contact with piston/valves

although mine are low comp
