you take a truck for test (called plating) and try and get a discount

There is a garage just down the road from me which advertises them at £30 + free retest! I've had mine and my girlfriends cars MOTd there now and not had any problems

Used to pay something like £45 + £25 for the retest where I used to take it

there is a place in coventry that charges £35 for tests

but i havnt been there as i stick to the same mot tester ive been using since driving even though the charges go up each year

I paid £25 last time at a formula one centre (like kwik fit) not sure if they are still the same price though
