hi..
will this rad weld stuff fuck an engine up..?
basically my brother has a leaking rad on his honda crv and is too tight to buy a rad and is saying that he will just bung some rad weld in it to get by then sell the car due to not wanting to pay to fix a few other little problems with it...
thanks for any help...

I use Barrs as well as Radweld. Never had any problems when using it.
Run up to temperature, shake radweld like fuck, pour in and go for a run about. Always worked fine in my cars.

depends how bad the leak is, its only supposed to be a temporary measure, for very small leaks and weeps, if the leak is real bad, all the rad weld will leak out with it too, so i'd really look into gettiong it fixed properly
if it is used incorrectly or stays in the system for too long it can cause water pump failure, and blockages in smaller waterways of the engine, headgasket, turbo etc.

lol on my way to fordfair last year, the cabriolet i had at the time (a bright yellow mk6 one) decided to leak like fook on the way via the water pump. I stopped at Leicester Forest East, £25 worth of Radweld later and a refill she stopped leaking. She is still running on Radweld to this day with the new owner.....

go camberley auto factors and buy one called k seal it a bit dearer but we gewt it issued at the aa it made of copper pellets instead of rubber and apparently some manafactors add it as standard. the stuff fixes some crazy leaks
