I use Barrs as well as Radweld. Never had any problems when using it.

Run up to temperature, shake radweld like fuck, pour in and go for a run about. Always worked fine in my cars.

Do you really think they would sell it if it "fucks engines up".
It's not exactly the best way of dealing with the situation, but plenty of people use it with no problems.

Wouldn't use it on a turbo'd car however.

depends how bad the leak is, its only supposed to be a temporary measure, for very small leaks and weeps, if the leak is real bad, all the rad weld will leak out with it too, so i'd really look into gettiong it fixed properly

if it is used incorrectly or stays in the system for too long it can cause water pump failure, and blockages in smaller waterways of the engine, headgasket, turbo etc.

lol on my way to fordfair last year, the cabriolet i had at the time (a bright yellow mk6 one) decided to leak like fook on the way via the water pump. I stopped at Leicester Forest East, £25 worth of Radweld later and a refill she stopped leaking. She is still running on Radweld to this day with the new owner.....
