Default s-max help please

hello all
i have just changed from a mondeo2.0tdci "54" to a s-max 2.0tdci "07"
the s-max seem to suffer a terrible turbo lag compared to the mondeo
does any one have any advise or know if there is any updates which can solve this problem
thanks in advance

try asking at ford to see if there are any ecu updates which may be relevant to your car. It could just be that the characteristics of the car are different to what you are used to. Did you test drive any other s max's to see if they were the same?
