Default lambda heatsink

How do you make a heatsink for a lambda sensor? ive had the bung welded in about 6 inches from turbo on the downpipe,whats the best material to use??

You don't really need one, neither VW or Ford felt the need when they used the LSU4 sensor on turbocharged vehicles!

do any of the VW or Ford vehicles run 550 bhp and high EGTS?

The only reason i ask is because ive put it about 6 inches below the turbo so will get very hot.

They'll be running higher EGT's than your car, that's for sure.
