Cosworth hubs socket size

Does anyone know what size socket i will need to undo the rear hubs on a 2wd cosworth , i measured it to 41mm but want to make sure before i order one .

Yeh mate you will need a 41mm socket to get them off.

and a fucking big bar. Go for a 1" drive socket if you can, anything else stands a good chance of breaking.

I bought a cheapo Franklin socket for mine, didnt see the point in buying one off my snap on dealer for the amount i'd use it lol Anyhows, the one I bought was actualy labeled up as a sierra rear hub nut socket

I took mine to a machine shop and had them reworked down to 36mm. lets see if they hold up, should do as the GpA cars were not 41mm.

And they weigh a ton, better with 36mm Titanium ones.
